Massage therapy helps you relax, re-align and rejuvenate. There are many positive aspects to receiving massage therapy on an ongoing basis. With the busy lives we lead, we can all benefit from a little stress management. More Americans are turning to therapeutic massage treatment to provide relaxation, relieve tension from daily stress or to simply help maintain good health and achieve a balanced lifestyle.

I attended a 600 hour program at Professional Massage Training Center. Courses included Swedish relaxation and deep-tissue/therapeutic bodywork, as well as instruction in sports massage, myofascial release, Chinese 5 element theory, hydro-therapy, alternative and complementary approaches. Upon gradutaion I trained in orthopedic massage with Whitney Lowe of OMERI which advanced my therapuetic skills. In 2001, I was accepted as the principle therapist for Dr. Shealy's wellness center/spa. I entered private practice in 2002 and advanced my learning with Thai Yoga Bodywork. In 2003 I took a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Anna Forest of Forest Yoga. Most recently I have trained in Qua Shaw and Esalan massage - known for its long, fluid strokes and deep relaxing effects.
